These land cover products were produced after 2023 and represent the next generation of our C-CAP High Resolution product line. They have been produced through advanced deep learning artificial intelligence (AI) combined with expert-based analysis, review, and editing. The data represents significant improvement from past products, including previously produced high resolution C-CAP mapping. NOAA’s goal is to produce similar products for all coastal areas within the U.S.
