BETA Derived Land Cover

These land cover products have been developed by the NOAA Office for Coastal Management through its Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP). They are the result of mapping performed from 1-meter aerial imagery and the resampling of those products to coarser resolutions. The results are entirely automated, and while useful they do have some errors. Which is why these products receive a BETA designation. Users should evaluate them before use and for the intended application.
